HOW THIS BEGAN
Take a moment and let me share my heart with you about the inspiration for this website. On February 2, 2008 I believe that God instructed me to launch a website to release and advance the prophetic expressions in this area. It is my desire to create a platform for the prophets and the prophetic anointings in this region. When I think of prophets, it is not so much forth telling or fortune telling. When I think of prophets and the prophetic, I think of revelation that comes from divine inspiration. There are many expressions of the heart of God and many ways that He makes His will and His ways known. I wanted to design an area where writers, speakers, seers, artists, musicians, etc. could share their creativity with others. Although I may put a few things on this site, this was not created for me. The site was created to share the five-fold ministry gifts and artistic prophetic giftings and callings with the Body of Christ.
Even though the decision seems to have been a quick one, it was not. In October, 1997 I was given a word concerning writing. God was going to give me messages and that He would show me how to get those messages out. The prophet spoke of Frank Bartleman, a man greatly used during the Azusa Street Revival. God would give him a message and the urgency to get the message out. Bartleman would make and post tracts around the city. It was said that he saturated the city of Los Angeles with gospel tracts. I wondered, “If he were alive today, how would he get those messages out?” The internet! Many things spoken to me in that word were not new but were confirmations of ideas and longings that were already in my heart and thoughts. In October 2007, our pastor was preaching and in his message he said several times, “The Lord is saying that you need to do what I told you to do 10 years ago.” Pastor Tony was not speaking directly to me but the Spirit of God certainly was. That afternoon I went to my prayer journal and looked at the date of the word I had received concerning writing and posting messages and it had been exactly 10 years. I began to earnestly pray to know what steps I needed to take next.
OUR PASSION
My husband, Joe and I have always had a passion to teach and to mentor, to share with others what God has revealed to us about His Word, His nature, and His character. Often times we see the potential in others and encourage, equip, and connect them with brothers and sisters to increase and grow in their ministries and giftings.
The heart of this website is first to magnify and glorify God and then to encourage our brothers in sisters in the Lord to be all that God has created them to be and to equip them to do all that God has created them to do. Eph 2:10
OUR COMMITTMENT TO YOU
Because of the nature of the words and articles that will be posted here, I ask that you pray over what you read, hear, or see. If it ministers to you, receive it and be blessed. If it doesn’t agree with your spirit, it could be that the word is not for you or not for you at this time. The writers and contributors are people that we are familiar with or have been recommended by trusted friends. We have selected a small group that will read the submissions and pray for discernment concerning timing and relevance before releasing an article or word. We are not here to give advice. We want only to share with you what God has shared with us. We have always encouraged others to test prophetic expressions in light of the Word. Test it against the weight of Scripture. We believe that it is God’s desire first and foremost to speak to you one on one, as He desired to do with the children of Israel. The prophetic word should only confirm what He has already revealed to you.
Because the character and nature of God is multi-faceted and because the gifts expressed here will be diverse, they might seem to have the appearance of disagreement. We, the readers and contributors, will not always agree all the time on every point. But, I assure you that the contributors to this site all agree that Jesus is Lord. They all agree concerning the Godhead: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They all agree that Jesus was born of a virgin, that He is the Son of God, that He lived and walked among us, that He was crucified for our sins, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, that He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and that He is the same yesterday, today and, forever.
