THE SWORD OF THE LORD - JENNIFER JONES

Heb. 12:29, Deut. 4:24,  "For the Lord your God is a consuming Fire, a jealous God".   The flaming sword represents a part of WHO GOD IS, His character. The tongues of fire ignite passion and zeal in His creation. As I painted I realize Gods desire to convey that He is a CONSUMING FIRE! There is nothing "safe" about Holy Spirit and God's fire, BUT HIS IS TOTALLY TRUSTWORTHY!!!
God birthed in me a vision. He showed me that He is a uncontrollable, unpredictable inferno of passion. He is like a warrior who stirs up His zeal for the day of war. He leads, protects and guards the way for His people with a pillar of fire.

SHOFAR'S SOUND OF COVENANT - JENNIFER JONES

I was worshipping and asking the Lord about His trumpets and as I painted the colors of the background this shofar just began to appear in the transitioning of color. As I looked at it the colors of covenant stood out to me.
God is FAITHFUL AND TRUE TO HIS WORD!
